<br />
· High School graduate, or equivalent.<br />
· Typing speed of 45 wpm or greater.<br />
· Familiar computers &amp; have knowledge of general clerical duties.<br />
· One year office experience in a medical setting preferred.<br />
· Ability to follow routine written &amp; verbal directions.<br />
<br />
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
· Performs admission duties for admitting inpatients and outpatients to hospital services.<br />
· Processes and files admission records and acts as liaison with patient family members or responsible party.<br />
· Performs duties involved in receiving and processing payments from patients.<br />
· Provides back-up duties to all positions in Admitting Office.<br />
· Performs other duties as assigned.<br />

In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care in a Level IV Trauma Center alongside dedicated health professionals. To succeed in this position, you will be confident in your skills, committed to exceptional patient care, and possess the ability to work within our iCare team.<br />

Position Duties and Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
•Perform ongoing assessment, formulates nursing  diagnosis and goals, plans appropriate interventions, and evaluates the outcome of the interventions.<br />
•Willingness to be flexible, filling both day and night open shifts.<br />
•Works collaboratively with doctors and staff to provide exceptional care.<br />
•Manages multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually.<br />
•Works at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care.<br />
•Conducts self in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.<br />
•Provides appropriate teaching and information to patients and families.<br />
•Maintains required inventory of supplies and equipment in the ER.<br />
•Participates in quality of care activities, evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, and attends all required training and continuing education events.<br />
•Basic computer skills - familiarity with windows based software programs.<br />
